am excited to be teaching this professional development
day. As a recognized practitioner and teacher, I
understand the concept of Therapeutic Touch as well as how
energy travels by focusing our intention. We learn so
much from the experience of giving and receiving

day a deer came close to our home. She stayed fairly close
in the nearby field which surprised me. I soon realized
that she was wounded and her back leg was bleeding. The only way
I could help her was to do Therapeutic Touch at a
distance. Every time I went to the window to see if she
was still there, I did a mini treatment. This went on for
3 days at which time she moved further up the hill and the next
day went on her way.
I have also been on the receiving end of getting a distant
treatment. I asked two of my fellow practitioners to help
me with the intense shock and pain of being stung by a nest of
ground wasps. The calming effects of the distant
Therapeutic Touch reduced the anaphylactic shock. I was
able to relax and rest.
This specific type of distant healing in which the practitioner
is interacting with the client's energy field while not in
physical contact with the client.
How energy flows in universal time and space as part of the
quantum physics of this process.
How intention to direct the energy in restoring order and
balance in the field works to support
the individual's natural ability to heal themselves.
The ethics of distant Therapeutic Touch i.e. permission from the
client at a distance.
Different ways of giving distant Therapeutic Touch, while using
the same method of giving a regular treatment.
The research that has proven that this direct distant
Therapeutic Touch treatment has an effect on revitalizing the
vital life force of the individual recipient.
